San Antonio, TX – Man Killed In Interstate 410 Collision

San Antonio, TX (July 12, 2019)- On Thursday, July 11, San Antonio Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 410 near Somerset Road.

According to police, a tractor-trailer was traveling west on the Interstate hauling concrete rocks when the driver lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the load on the truck spilled out onto the highway.

The debris along the roadway caused a traffic stop. A motorcyclist was unable to stop in time and, as a result, they crashed into a stopped vehicle on the roadway.

The rider sustained fatal injuries and was unable to be resuscitated at the scene of the incident.

The driver of the truck was transported to a hospital in San Antonio for treatment.
