Motorcycle Accidents in Texas
Statistics show that about 16 percent of all traffic accident fatalities involve motorcycles. Most motorcycle accidents that occur at intersections are caused by distracted, aggressive, drunk, or fatigued drivers. When drivers fail to pay attention to their surroundings for any reason, they risk making turns in front of oncoming motorcyclists. Because riders aren’t as secure as occupants in passenger vehicles, they’re more likely to sustain major injuries, which could lead to fatalities.
