South Padre Island, TX – Hit And Run Golf Cart Crash On Padre Blvd Results In Injuries

South Padre Island, TX (July 15, 2019) – On July 13, South Padre Island Police department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 4900 block of Padre Boulevard.

Reports from the incident indicate that a white 4-door sedan collided with a golf cart along the roadway. The impact of the collision caused the golf cart to flip over.

The driver of the sedan fled the scene of the incident, leaving four occupants of the golf cart injured. All four victims were transported to area hospitals, one of which remains in critical condition at this time.

On Monday, July 15, South Padre Island Police announced that 28-year-old Gregorio Gonzalez was arrested for his involvement in this incident.
