Texas City, TX – Child Hospitalized After Pedestrian Crash On Bay Street
Texas City, TX (July 19, 2019) – On July 18, just before 7 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision in the 1600 block of Bay Street.
Reports from police indicate that an 8-year-old child was crossing Bay Street when he was struck by a 1998 Ford F-150 truck.
The boy sustained critical injuries and was transported via medical helicopter to the University of Texas Medical Branch hospital.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
