Midland, TX (July 20, 2019) On the evening of July 19th, a fatal collision happened in the 300 block of North Big Spring Street. An SUV was traveling north on Big Spring Street when it somehow crossed the center divider and collided head-on with another vehicle. The accident happened at around 9:50 p.m.

Head-On and DUI Accidents in Texas

Midland, TX - Lorenzo Leon Killed in Fatal Head-On Collision on N Big Spring StOften times, driving under the influence is what leads to head-on collisions because it’s easy for incoherent drivers to lose control of their bodies, and then their vehicles. When drivers have blurry vision, and can barely keep their head up, they’re more prone to allowing their vehicle to drift to the opposite lane into oncoming traffic, which often leads to fatalities.
