Alamo, TX – Motorcyclist Killed in Motorcycle Accident on W Frontage Rd of IH 2

Alamo, TX (July 21, 2019) On the morning of Jul 21st, a fatal hit-and-run accident happened in the 1300 block of West Frontage Road of the Interstate Highway 2. A vehicle crashed into a motorcyclist on the highway between Cesar Chavez and FM 907. The accident happened right before 6:00 a.m.

When the paramedics and other emergency crews arrived at the intersection, they found a motorcyclist lying in the roadway with fatal injuries. Despite providing immediate medical care, they were unable to revive the motorcyclist. Sadly, the vehicle that struck the rider failed to stop and render aid.

Authorities are currently searching for the driver responsible for causing the accident.

Our thoughts are with the deceased motorcyclist’s family as they grieve.

Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Accidents in Texas

Alamo, TX - Motorcyclist Killed in Motorcycle Accident on W Frontage Rd of IH 2About 500 motorcyclists sustained fatal injuries after being hit by vehicles throughout Texas. When drivers hit motorcyclists and then proceed to drive off without helping them, it’s often because they are afraid of going to jail, paying fines, or they’re driving drunk on the roads. In fact, statistics indicate that drunk drivers are often on the highways on weekends between the hours of midnight and 6:00 a.m. Sadly, drunk drivers may not even be aware that they crashed into someone, or if they are, they’re unable to control their bodies enough to stop their vehicles.
