Springtown, TX – Motorcycle Accident On Highway 199 Results In Injuries
Springtown, TX (July 22, 2019) – Saturday evening, there was a multi-vehicle accident in Springtown. On July 20th, just before 7:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 199.
Reports from the scene indicate that a 77-year-old female was traveling down the highway on a motorcycle when she failed to maintain her speed. As a result, a motorcycle swerved to avoid her and crashed into the rear-end of a semi-truck.
The motorcyclist was injured in the collision and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
