Ector County, TX – Brantley Mitchell Killed In West University Ave Crash

Ector County, TX (July 23, 2019) – On July 19, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on West University Road near the intersection of Uranus Road.

According to reports, 33-year-old Dustin Biggerstaff was crossing West University Avenue on Uranus Road in a pickup truck to enter a private driveway when he failed to yield the right of way. As a result, his vehicle collided with 18-year-old Brandley Mitchell, who was traveling down West University Avenue on a motorcycle.

Mitchell sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Ector County Sheriff’s Office.
