Galveston, TX – Crash On Avenue U Leaves Bicyclist Injured
Galveston, TX (July 24, 2019) – On July 20, Galveston Police Department and emergency crews were called to the scene of an accident in the 4100 block of Avenue Q.
According to reports, 59-year-old Adrian Bolden was in an argument with a bicyclist. After traveling a short distance, Bolden, who was inside a gold Chevy Impala, struck the bicyclist before fleeing the scene.
The driver of the car was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
The bicyclist sustained injuries and was transported to the University of Texas Medical Center Branch.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
