Tyler County, TX – Victims Of US Highway 190 Collision Identified

Tyler County, TX (July 25, 2019) – On July 23, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US 190.

According to reports from DPS, a 2004 Toyota passenger car was traveling west on US 190 when it drifted into the eastbound lane and collided with a 2009 Chevrolet pickup truck.

The driver of the Toyota, 50-year-old Tammie Carter, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Chevrolet, 50-year-old Jeffrey Watson, was injured in the collision and transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
