Houston, TX -Police Officer Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Antoine Dr
Houston, TX (July 27, 2019) On the morning of July 27th, a pedestrian accident happened on Antoine Drive and 290. A Houston police officer was responding to a collision at the intersection when a vehicle hit him. The impact of the crash caused the officer to hit his head on the asphalt after ejecting into the air.
When the fire department, paramedics, and police department arrived, they found the police officer lying in the roadway with serious head injuries. He was rushed to the closest hospital for immediate treatment. Medical professionals have revealed that he is in stable condition.
The authorities arrested the driver responsible, who was driving under the influence at the time of the accident.
