Houston, TX – Two Killed In Workplace Accident Outside Wisdom High School
Houston, TX (July 30, 2019) – On July 29, emergency crews responded to the scene of a workplace accident outside of the Wisdom High School located in the 6500 block of Beverly Hill Street.
According to reports, a crew of workers was fertilizing the field at the high school utilizing a hydro-seeding spreader truck.
One of the workers were preparing to use the spreader at the location. As the worker opened the hatch of the truck, they were overcome by fumes. The worker collapsed into the truck. A second worker attempted to pull out the injured worker but was overcome by fumes himself. The second worker collapsed into the truck as a result as well.
A third worker discovered what was happening and called for help.
At this time, an investigation is underway to determine what caused the two workers to suffer instant fatal injuries from inhalation.
