Copperas Cove, TX – Abigail Smith Killed In US Highway 190 Collision

Copperas Cove, TX (August 2, 2019) – On August 2, just before 1 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the US Highway 190 bypass south of Copperas Cove.

According to reports, 27-year-old Abigail Smith was traveling east on Highway 190 in a Ford passenger car when her vehicle entered onto the wrong side of the road. Smith’s vehicle collided head-on with semi-truck just wave of Old Copperas Cove Road.

Smith sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
