Arlington, TX – 2 Injured in Car Collision on I-20
Arlington, TX (August 3, 2019) On the 3rd of August, a car collision happened on Interstate 20. A pickup truck was traveling on the highway when it crashed into an Arlington fire engine. The vehicles collided sometime in the morning for reasons that are still being investigated by authorities. However, reports indicate that the fire engine was blocking traffic for a disabled vehicle on the highway.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found the pickup truck driver suffering from injuries. They rushed the driver to the closest hospital for treatment. They found another injured victim inside of the disabled vehicle and rushed them to the closest hospital as well.
More information will be released once authorities determine what caused the pickup truck to crash into the fire engine.
Our thoughts are with both injured victims as they begin recovering.
