Houston, TX – 1 Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Cavalcade St

Houston, TX (August 3, 2019) On the evening of August 1st, a fatal pedestrian accident took place in the 200 block of Cavalcade Street. A vehicle struck a man who was crossing the street at around 7:00 p.m.

When the ambulance and other emergency crews arrived at the scene to assist, they found the man lying in the roadway suffering from severe injuries. They immediately tended to the injured man and then rushed him to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital for further treatment. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Fortunately, the driver responsible for hitting the man remained at the scene as they investigated. So far, authorities do not believe intoxication or other drugs were contributing factors of the collision.
Our thoughts are with the deceased man’s family as they grieve over his loss.
