Lubbock, TX – Linda Rodriguez Killed in Fatal Collision on 73rd St
Lubbock, TX (August 3, 2019) On the morning of August 3rd, a fatal collision happened on 73rd Street and Milwaukee Avenue. A 2011 Ford Mustang was headed northbound on Milwaukee Avenue as a 2007 Ford Focus was headed southbound. As the Ford Focus was turning left into a private driveway, the Ford Mustang crashed into it.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found a passenger inside of the Ford Focus suffering from fatal injuries. She has been identified as 59-year-old Linda Rodriguez. The driver of the Ford Focus sustained serious injuries and was rushed to UMC. The driver of the Ford Mustang also sustained major injuries and was transported to UMC as well.
Authorities are currently investigating to determine causation and liability.
