Bicycle Accidents in Texas
Within a 5-year span, over 12,000 traffic accidents involved bicyclists throughout Texas. When bicyclists are hit by vehicles, the cause is usually distracted driving, aggressive driving, drunk driving, or fatigued driving. Drivers who continue to drive off after hitting bicyclists often do so when they’re driving illegally or have a criminal record and don’t want to be caught by the authorities.
At Benton Law Firm, we have helped numerous injured bicyclists over the past two decades file personal injury lawsuits against drivers that caused them harm. We don’t believe victims should have to pay for treatment and other damages if they weren’t driving negligently. If you or a loved one was harmed in a bicycle accident, contact our office today for a free consultation at 214-219-4878.
