Fort Worth, TX – East Northside Drive Crash Results In Fatal Injuries
Fort Worth, TX (August 5, 2019) – Early Monday, August 5, Fort Worth Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in the 1500 block of East Northside Drive.
According to reports, a pickup truck with five occupants was traveling along the roadway when the driver lost control of the vehicle. As a result, the truck went off the road and crashed into a tree before bursting into flames.
All five occupants of the truck were fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene.
As the truck caught on fire alongside the road, the flames extended to a tent nearby, where a homeless man was sleeping.
The homeless man sustained critical burn injuries and was transported to Parkland Hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
