Houston, TX – Pedestrian Fatally Injured On Tanner Road

Houston, TX (August 6, 2019) – Around 9:30 a.m. on August 5, the Houston Police Department received notification of a pedestrian accident in the 10600 block of Tanner Road near the West Sam Houston Tollway.

According to police, paramedics arrived at the scene to find a male pedestrian in the roadway. Evidence at the scene of the incident indicates that the victim sustained fatal injuries due to an automobile collision. Unfortunately, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.

The incident remains under investigation at this time by the Houston Police Department’s Hit and Run Unit.
