Maud, TX – Jessica Ann Racheal Killed In Texas Highway 8 Crash

Maud, TX (August 6, 2019) – On August 6, around 3:21 a.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Texas Highway 8 near the intersection of US Highway 67.

Reports from DPS indicate that 31-year-old Jessica Ann Racheal was traveling down the roadway on foot when she was fatally struck by a motor vehicle.

The driver of the car responsible fled the scene of the incident without stopping to render aid.

Authorities arrived at the scene to pronounce Ms. Racheal deceased.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
