Winkler County, TX – Collision on Hwy 115 Results In Fatal Injuries

Winkler County, TX (August 7, 2019) – On August 5, around 6:11 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a collision on Highway 115 just five miles south of Kermit in Winkler County.

Reports from authorities indicate that two vehicles collided head-on along the highway for unknown reasons.

The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles involved to burst into flames.

One person involved in this incident was seriously injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Authorities later confirmed that the male victim succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
