Stanton, TX – FM 829 Crash Victim ID’d as Adolfo Soto-Perez
Stanton, TX (August 8, 2019) – On August 6, at approximately 2:15 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident along Farm to Market Rd 829 just 10 miles northwest of Stanton.
According to reports, a semi-truck was traveling along the roadway when the driver failed to yield the right of way at the intersection for County Road 3100.
As a result, the semi-truck collided with a second semi-truck on the roadway.
The driver of the first semi-truck, who was later identified as Gerardo Cano-Flores, sustained injuries in the incident and was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the second truck, identified as 55-year-old Adolfo Soto-Perez, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
