Austin, TX – Four Hospitalized After Interstate 35 Collision

Austin, TX (August 9, 2019) – On August 9, just after 2:30 p.m., emergency crews from the Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35.

Reports from ATCEMS indicate that a multi-vehicle collision involving pedestrians occurred in the 1500 block of interstate 35.

One male involved in the collision sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment.

A woman in her 20s was also seriously injured and transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Two additional victims, one in her 20s and one in her 50s, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
