La Porte, TX – Three Siblings Drown At Sylvan Beach Park

La Porte, TX (August 9, 2019) – On August 8, just before 7:30 p.m., a family of six was enjoying a nice evening in the water at Sylvan Beach Park in La Porte when things went terribly wrong.

According to reports, a family from the Houston area was swimming in the park when they began having trouble in the water.

The four children, ranging in ages between 7-years-old and 13-years old, were all pulled under the water. The parents and bystanders began searching frantically for the children without any luck.

A bystander was able to locate a 10-year-old boy in the water and pull him up to safety.

Unfortunately, the three other children, ages 13, 11, and 7, were located a short time later and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 10-year-old boy was treated at the scene and released.

At this time, the incident remains under investigations.
