Amarillo, TX – Khan Naing Killed In NE 9th Ave Crash

Amarillo, TX (August 12, 2019) – On August 11, just before 10:30 p.m., a major motor vehicle accident occurred on Northeast 9th Avenue.

Reports from the Amarillo Police Department state that 55-year-old Khan Naing was laying in the road, in the 5900 block of Northeast 9th Avenue, when he was run over by a truck.

Naing sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the red Dodge pickup truck responsible for this incident fled from the scene without stopping to render aid.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation with the Amarillo Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Squad.
