Denton, TX – Matthew Sopcic Killed In Accident At Target Distribution Center

Denton, TX (August 13, 2019) – On August 4, a man sustained fatal injuries after getting caught in a conveyor belt at the at the Target Distribution Center on 3200 block of Airport Road just before 4 p.m.

According to reports, employees at the Target Distribution Center found an unconscious male, who was identified as 34-year-old Matthew Sopcic at the building.

The man was transported to a Fort Worth Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on August 9.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation. It is believed that the man was caught in a conveyor belt at the plant.
