Iowa Colony, TX – Three Injured On Construction Accident In Sterling Lakes

Iowa Colony, TX (August 15, 2019) – On August 14, just before 8:30 p.m., crews from the Iowa Colony Police Department and The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office arrived at a construction work site to discover three men injured.

According to reports, a crew of three men was working on a home in the Sterling Lakes subdivision when they were struck by lightning.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they discovered one of the injured men unresponsive. Emergency crews began administering CPR and were able to get a pulse.

The injured man, along with two other men, were transported to an area hospital.
