Lubbock, TX – Crash On I-27 Results In Fatal Injuries

Lubbock, TX (August 16, 2019) – On August 16, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 27.

According to police, at approximately 3:45 a.m., crews were notified that a pedestrian was struck on Interstate 27 between 50th Street and South Loop 289.

The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the red Chevrolet Camaro involved in the accident remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
