Austin, TX – 2 Injured And 1 Killed In Motorcycle Accident On Mount Bonnell Rd
Austin, TX (August 17, 2019) On the evening of August 17th, a serious motorcycle accident happened at the 5600 block of Mount Bonnell Road. A motorcycle and vehicle collided around 10:20 pm on FM 2222 near Mount Bonnell Road for reasons that are still being investigated.
When the Austin Police Department and other emergency crews arrived, they found one person critically injured as a result of the collision. They called for a STAR Flight helicopter to transport the injured victim to the closest medical facility. The paramedics were also seen performing CPR on another injured victim. Sadly, one person sustained fatal injuries and has not been identified yet.
Crews shut down FM 2222 in both directions as they worked to clean up the collision.
Authorities are still thoroughly investigating the fatal crash to determine fault.
