Austin, TX – Multi-Vehicle Accident On Loop 1 And Mopac Blvd
Austin, TX (August 17, 2019) On the 16th of August, a car accident happened on Loop 1 and Mopac Blvd, not far from 35th Street and Camp Mabry. Four vehicles collided in the southbound lanes for reasons that are unavailable at this time. The accident took place in the 4300 block of North Mopac Boulevard around 12:45 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived, they found multiple vehicles damaged in the collision. The paramedics helped everyone who was injured in the accident and took those who needed further care to nearby hospitals. Crews had to shut down areas near 35th Street and Camp Mabry as they cleared the accident. Vehicles were advised to take alternate routes until the lanes reopened.
The police are still investigating this multi-vehicle collision.
