Austin, TX – Josephine Guerra Killed In Montopolis Dr Crash

Austin, TX (August 19, 2019) – On Friday, August 16, just before 5:30 a.m., the Austin Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near 3505 Montopolis Drive.

According to investigative reports from the Austin Police Department, a red 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2014 silver Chevrolet Malibu were traveling north along Montopolis Drive when the Tahoe collided with the Malibu.

The impact of the collision sent the Tahoe off the road where it collided with a tree. The impact of the collision with the tree caused the rear-seat passenger, identified as 27-year-old Josephine Guerra, to be ejected from the vehicle.

Guerra sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
