Jefferson County, TX – Daniel Montano Killed In Crash On US Hwy 69

Jefferson County, TX (August 20, 2019) – On Monday, August 19, emergency crews received the request for assistance regarding a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 69 at approximately 2:15 p.m.

According to reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety, 29-year-old Daniel Montano was walking along US Highway 69 when he was struck by a 2011 GMC pickup truck.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene to provide medical treatment to Mr. Montano. However, he had already succumbed to injuries incurred in the accident before crews arrived.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
