Lubbock, TX (August 20, 2019) – On August 19, just after 2 p.m., the Lubbock Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 800 block of Upland Avenue.
According to reports, a 10-year-old girl was walking crossing the road near the Terra Vista Middle School of the Frenship Independent School District when she was struck by a motor vehicle.
The child was seriously injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
