Midland, TX – High School Student Killed In Crash On FM 1379

Midland, TX (August 20, 2019) – On August 19, just before 7 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 1379.

According to reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety, multiple vehicles collided along Farm to Market Road 1379 near the area of Highway 158. DPS reports several people were injured in the collision.

Unfortunately, a sophomore from the Greenwood High School was fatally injured in the crash.

At this time, DPS is investigating the incident to determine the cause.
