Austin, TX (August 22, 2019) – On August 22, just after 4 a.m., emergency crews from the Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene of a collision along US Highway 183.

According to reports, a construction worker was on the roadway in the area of the US Highway 183 and Interstate 35 intersection when he was struck by a semi-truck.

The male victim, who is in his 50s, was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
