Burleson, TX – Teen Killed In Collision On Hidden Creek Parkway

Burleson, TX (August 22, 2019) – At approximately 4 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Hidden Creek Parkway.

According to reports, three vehicles collided along the roadway near Hidden Oaks Drive. The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles involved to burst into flames.

Emergency crews arrived and found one male victim deceased. The victim, who was later identified as Dawson Barnes, was a senior student at Centennial High School.

The collision resulted in a closure of the road that lasted over 5-hours as crews cleared away the debris from the collision and worked to determine the cause.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
