Polk County, TX – Rudy Williams Killed In US Highway 190 Crash

Polk County, TX (August 22, 2019) – On August 21, at approximately 12:40 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 190.

According to reports, 58-year-old Homero Ortiz was traveling west on the highway in a 2000 Bounder Motorhome when he struck a pedestrian in the roadway.

The pedestrian, who was identified as 33-year-old Rudy Williams, incurred serious injuries and was transported to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital in Livingston. Authorities confirmed that Williams later succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, the Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
