Stephenville, TX – 2 Teens Killed In Semi-Truck Crash On US Hwy 281
Stephenville, TX (August 23, 2019) – On August 22, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 281.
According to reports, 18-year-old Destiny Ann Thompson and 18-year-old Alyssa Gayle Green were traveling along US Highway 281, heading toward Morgan Mill. A collision occurred between their 2015 Nissan Altima and a 2007 Peterbilt truck-tractor, which was towing a trailer.
The driver of the Peterbilt, who was identified as 59-year-old Robert C. Tyrrell, was injured and transported to Texas Health Hospital.
Unfortunately, both Ms. Thompson and Ms. Green were pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
