New Caney, TX – 1 Killed And 2 Injured In Head-On Collision On FM 1485

New Caney, TX (August 25, 2019) On the 25th of August, a fatal head-on collision took place on FM 1485. A Nissan Armada was traveling on FM 1485 when it slid due to wet roadway conditions and crashed head-on with a Chevrolet Impala. The accident took place at around 3:30 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived, the driver of the Chevrolet was pronounced deceased at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, but sources reveal he was in his 70’s. Two of his passengers sustained critical injuries and were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.

All four of the occupants inside of the Nissan did not sustain injuries.

Texas state troopers are currently investigating the accident.
