Sherman, TX – Officer Hurt In Crash On US Highway 75
Sherman, TX (August 27, 2019) – On August 26, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 75 near the intersection of North Travis Street.
According to reports, between 10:30 p.m. and midnight, an officer with the Sherman Police Department was traveling north along Highway 75, with lights activated, when his vehicle collided with a second vehicle at the intersection.
The officer was injured and transported to an area hospital for medical treatment immediately following the collision.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
