Victoria, TX – Two in Hospital After Three-Vehicle Collision on US 59

Victoria, TX (August 27, 2019) – On August 27, emergency crews responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle collision on US 59.

Reports from the Victoria Police Department indicate that two semi-trucks were traveling north along the highway. While traveling down the road, one truck turned east onto County Road.

The driver of the second semi-truck failed to control their speed. As a result, they crashed into the rear-end of the first semi-truck.

Both drivers were injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The collision remains under investigation at this time.
