Abilene, TX – Marvin Guelker Killed In FM-89 Crash

Abilene, TX (August 28, 2019) – On August 27, just before 3:40 p.m., emergency crews and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 89 just one mile south of Abilene.

Reports from police indicate that 89-year-old Marvin Guelker was traveling down the roadway when his vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Sabrina Kirk.

Guelker sustained serious injuries and was transported to Abilene Regional Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Kirk incurred minor injuries and was transported to Abilene Regional Medical Center where she was treated and released.

At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
