Pearland, TX (August 28, 2019) – On August 28, emergency crews responded to the scene of a dog attack at the Pearland Police Department training facility located on Cullen Blvd.

According to reports, an officer was training with the department’s K9 when he was bitten in the arm.

The officer incurred serious damages in the incident. The injured officer was transported to Herman Memorial Hospital via Life Flight immediately after the incident.

An investigation remains ongoing at this time.
