Jacksonville, TX – Edwin McCuin ID’d as Victim of South Jackson St Crash
Jacksonville, TX (August 29, 2019) – Authorities confirmed on August 29 that the victim of a pedestrian accident earlier this week has succumbed to his injuries.
On Monday, August 26, emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South Jackson Street.
According to reports, 69-year-old Edwin McCuin was crossing the road when he was struck by a motor vehicle, which was traveling south along South Jackson Street in the outer lane.
Mr. McCuin was flown from a Jacksonville hospital to a hospital in Tyler where he succumbed to his injuries just four days later.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
