Galveston, TX – Bowling Crist ID’d as Victim of Fatal Pedestrian Crash on I-45

Galveston, TX (August 30, 2019) – At approximately 5 a.m. on August 2, emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident in the 2200 block of Interstate 45 near the Farm to Market Road 646 exit.

According to reports, 56-year-old Bowling B. Crist was attempting to cross the roadway when he was struck by a 2016 silver Chevrolet sedan, which was exiting I-45.

Crist incurred fatal injuries on impact and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police in Galveston are actively investigating this incident to determine the cause.
