Rogers, TX – Woman Injured in Semi-Truck Crash on Highway 190
Rogers, TX (August 30, 2019) – A semi-truck crash on Highway 190 sends one woman to the hospital with critical injuries.
Reports from police indicate that around 9:10 p.m. on August 29, a woman was traveling down Highway 190 in Rogers when she attempted to turn into the Dollar General parking lot. As the driver slowed her vehicle, she was struck from behind by a semi-truck.
The impact of the collision caused the woman’s vehicle to cross over into the opposite lane where she was then struck head-on by a second semi-truck.
A second semi-trucks front tires blew out from the collision, causing the vehicle to roll over into the front yard of a home.
The woman was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
No other victims were injured. However, the driver of the first semi-truck was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
