Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Between 2017 and 2018, studies show that pedestrian fatalities increased by five percent in Texas. Pedestrians are often hit by drivers who are not paying attention at the time of the crash, even if they only take their eyes off of the road for a few seconds. It’s easy for drivers to accidentally strike adults and cause major damage, which means it’s even easier to accidentally strike a child and cause even more damage. Drivers are supposed to be aware and alert of their surroundings at all times since it’s easy for their vehicle to harm pedestrians.
