Motorcycle Accidents in Texas
Thousands of motorcyclists lose their lives annually on Texas roadways for many reasons, but the most common being negligent driving. Because motorcycles are smaller than other motor vehicles, they’re harder to see, especially if they’re in a driver’s blind spot. Therefore, if drivers are distracted by their cell phones, other passengers, food, external noises, loud music, and more, they’re less likely to be aware of motorcyclists in their vicinity and accidentally collide with one. Because every motorcyclist’s body is exposed, they’re more likely to sustain the more harmful injuries that could be life-threatening.
