Houston, TX – 4 Injured in 3-Vehicle Accident on SH 6
Houston, TX (September 1, 2019) On the morning of September 1st, a three-vehicle accident happened in the 9200 block of State Highway 6. Two passenger vehicles and a pickup truck collided near Point Six Circle right before 2:30 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived, they found a red vehicle upside down as a result of the collision. After helping those who were entrapped, a total of four people sustained injuries and were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment. Crews helped remove the damaged vehicles while investigators gathered information regarding causation and liability.
Our thoughts are with the four injured victims and their families. We wish them all a full recovery.
Vehicle Collisions in Texas
Vehicle collisions occur every single day in Texas, and even more on weekends. When accidents occur between the hours of midnight and 6:00 a.m., the accident is often caused by drunk driving. When drivers consume too much alcohol, they’re less likely to be aware of their actions, which means they’re more liable to speed, break traffic laws, and accidentally collide into other vehicles. When drivers behave this way, they risk their own lives and everyone else’s on the road.
