Austin, TX – Pedestrian Killed In Crash on I-35

Austin, TX (September 2, 2019) – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident just after 3 a.m. on September 2.

According to reports, a male pedestrian was attempting to cross the interstate near 16th Street when he was struck by a semi-truck in the roadway.

The male incurred fatal injuries in the collision.

Emergency crews from the Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
